Zambia Property Investors Club – Terms and Conditions of Membership
Effective Date: April 3, 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Zambia Property Investors Club, owned and operated by Diaspora Connect Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in our online membership platform, including access to all associated content, services, events, and communications (collectively, the “Membership”).
By joining and/or accessing the Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not proceed with registration or payment.
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Any material changes will be communicated to you via email or posted on our website or membership platform. Continued use of the Membership after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Membership Details
Membership Access & Benefits:
Your membership grants you access to our private membership community (currently hosted on Circle), live and recorded masterclasses, templates and tools, discussion threads, resource materials, and periodic events. Membership benefits may vary from time to time.
Membership Term & Renewal:
Memberships are offered on a quarterly, semi annual or annual basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each selected subscription period unless you cancel your membership prior to the renewal date.
Cancellation:
You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellations must be made in writing by emailing info@buyingpropertyinzambia.com or through your account portal (if available). Cancellations take effect at the end of the current term and do not result in a refund.
Non-Transferable:
Membership is personal to the registered user and may not be assigned, transferred, or shared with others without our written consent.
3. Payments and Fees
Fees & Payment:
Membership fees are payable in advance on a quarterly, semi annual or annual basis. Accepted payment methods include mobile money or credit/debit card. All payments are processed securely.
Refunds:
Membership can be cancelled at any time. Refunds of membership fees will only be processed if a member has not accessed Circle or attended a live session. The refund can only be claimed within 14 days after becoming a member provided that the aforementioned conditions have been met.
No refunds will be issued for missed sessions, unused content, or failure to cancel before renewal.
Changes in Fees:
We reserve the right to adjust membership fees. Any price changes will be communicated to current members in advance and will only apply to future renewals.
4. Conduct and Community Participation
We strive to create a supportive, respectful, and professional environment.
Acceptable Use:
You agree to use the Membership platform for lawful purposes only. You must not engage in any activity that:
- Harasses, threatens, or defames others
- Infringes upon intellectual property rights
- Attempts to access accounts or content not assigned to you
Prohibited Conduct Includes:
- Sharing login credentials or paid content with non-members
- Distributing Club content on social media or other public platforms
- Uploading harmful, misleading, or promotional materials without consent
- Offering unsolicited services or promotions to other members
Moderation & Removal:
We reserve the right to remove any member who breaches these rules, without refund, and without prior warning if necessary.
5. Intellectual Property
All content shared through the Zambia Property Investors Club, including recordings, presentations, templates, emails, worksheets, discussions, and video materials, is the intellectual property of Diaspora Connect Limited or licensed third parties.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, resell, or distribute Club content
- Create derivative works from Club materials
- Use any content for commercial gain or outside business purposes
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the content solely for your own learning and property development goals.
6. Privacy and Data Use
We collect and process personal data such as your name, contact details, payment information, and engagement in the Club in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This data is used to provide services, improve your experience, and communicate with you.
We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Club provides educational content and professional insight but does not constitute legal, financial, or investment advice. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence and seeking professional advice before making investment decisions.
To the extent permitted by law, Diaspora Connect Limited will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:
- Use of, or reliance on, information provided through the Membership
- Any interruptions or delays in accessing Club content
- Third-party actions, including guest speakers or member interactions
Our total liability to any member shall not exceed the amount paid by the member in the preceding quarter.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lusaka, Zambia.
